Friend Request

A little about the plot: Lovely and popular in her university girl Laura leads an active lifestyle, puts photos about her pastime on Facebook and has a lot of friends.

Once she receives a friend request from a girl called Marina, who has 0 friends on her social network. Laura adds her to friends and even tries to keep in touch with her, but her “new friend” becomes overly intrusive, and what happens then can be characterized by the phrase: “Do not bring people good if you don’t want to get bad”.

Although the plot is built in a fairly classical format, everything is created with a soul, “with feeling, sense, and arrangement.” As if a good part of reality is breathed into the film, which looks like the ordinary lives of young people who are used to social networks. Looking at this, involuntarily you begin to try on yourself in the place of heroes because they are all so ordinary as usual people.

This film will please you with a diverse and dynamic plot. You will not be bored during the viewing: the action area in the film is not limited only to the university and the apartment, events are developing rapidly and affect all aspects of the life of Laura and her friends. In addition, the big plus of the film is that it does not focus the viewer’s attention solely on communication and life in the social network. The problem is involved even more globally, including the relationship between popular and ordinary guys and outsiders with their oddities, including paranormal ones.

As for me, the film is stunning. It captures, cools the blood and completely attracts attention. I managed to get a huge pleasure from viewing. Yes, there are a few things in the film that I would throw out. But in general, the picture is decent. It was interesting to observe how the queen of the school turns into an outsider. No matter how she tried to correct the situation, nothing came of her.

Thus, “Friend Request” is a very strong horror film, which you can rarely find in the modern cinematography.

Bye Bye Germany

Bye Bye Germany

This film tells us about the life of Jews in Germany in 1946, after the victory over fascism. Here you can see an ordinary peaceful life in post-war Germany. Finally, the regime is overthrown, and people can live freely. But, unfortunately, not everyone could survive the cruelty of tyrants and see the victory of their country.
Germany was almost completely destroyed, so the survivors began to rebuild their cities from the very beginning. Despite the hunger strike and poverty, hopelessness forces people to work tirelessly. David Berman and his six friends, the main characters of the movie, escaped the horrors of the Nazi regime and now dream of immigrating to America. But the dream of the hero is hindered by the US occupation authorities in the face of the lady Sarah Simon, who is very interested in why our hero was in a concentration camp, not in the usual one, but in the barracks for privileged prisoners. Sarah Simon starts suspecting David in close connection with the Nazis. Hard-working girl, who loves her work, begins to chase the guy. But even such a cold and stale lady cannot resist her heart and rising feelings.
There are plenty of interesting dialogues. In the dialogues, you can find a lot of humor, and at the same time, grief and tragedy. The film is not monotonous; viewers are given a lot of “food for the brain” throughout the film.
The subject and plot of the film are quite complicated. In fact, this film is a drama about a man who lost everything and who could survive in a concentration camp due to his ability to tell funny jokes and who is trying to find himself in a new world. In my opinion, the film is unique in its structure. This movie is really worth watching it to go deep into the tragedy, to reconsider our history, and just to look at it from the other point of view.

The Present

The Present

Being a film adaptation of the Internet comics, that is already popular for several years, this cartoon tells us about such a touching and memorable story which force us to watch it again and again due to its colors, attractive characters and insiring story. This is a creation about the lives of people who, due to some circumstances, are not the same as others. Not mentally, but physically. It is a story about acceptance of who you are. It is a short story about instant friendship that was grown on the basis of mutual understanding, common pain, as well as learning how to overcome it. This is truly a wonderful cartoon, filled with meaning that will be clear to both children and adults: any second of our life, any unexpectedness, anything can change our future. In the cartoon there are practically no words, it lasts four minutes. But it is more sincere than many full-length films that are trying to make the viewer cry.

Look Who’s Back

Berlin these days. In an abandoned wasteland a nightmare of the XX century – Hitler, a bloody dictator, who horrified Germany and then a half of humanity, an immediate perpetrator of  tens of millions of deathsreturns to life. He has no more power, no supporters, no shelter, no money, but he has an unique experience of rising from the bottom to the top and fervent belief in victory of National Socialism. The unprepared world mistakes the former dictator for the brilliant actor, his angry speech is blowing up the Internet… and Hitler is becoming a superstar for the second time in his life. How it would turn out nowadays?

“Look Who’s Back” shows us a case scenario, if Hitler appeared out of nowhere in our time.  But don’t think about it- for the film it doesn’t make any sense. We see how Hitler gets acquainted with the new technologies and learns the new opportunities and the new world order. Here the most interesting begins.

Vicky the Viking

Many years ago the Vikings, strong and fearless warriors, lived  in Scandinavia. Ordinarily, they had a lot of upper body strength and possessed tremendous power. But a boy named Vicky lived with his parents in a small Viking village and he wasn’t like the other Vikings. He was shy and not so strong, sometimes he hadn’t the courage to do something courageous, which was frustrating for his father. However, instead of physical strength, nature endowed this boy with intelligence and agility. It was through such qualities he was always helping his father and the other vikings to get out of almost hopeless situations.
